PWG: It's Like Facebook But It Pays You.

What if Facebook paid you a portion of the millions they earn from your page views everyday? Would that be special? How about if they paid you 100% of their total revenue earned from page views? That sounds amazing, I agree. That's the model behind this new social networking blog platform called Preferred Writers Group (PWG) myself and a few fellow writers are developing. 

Sharing and Commenting

If you enjoy posting on Facebook & Commenting on your friend's posts, you can do that here and earn real money. 150 - 200 words or slightly more than a paragraph is enough to be considered a post. In fact, this post has already met the minimum required for a post here. Submit a post and leave comments on your friend's post. It's that easy.

Watch Your Earnings Grow

The overall projected earnings is posted on every page. So you will always have a good idea of how well we are doing. At the end of the month these earnings are divided up by page views and every member gets paid based upon their total valid page views. Here is where PWG begins to differ from any other site. You get paid 100% of your total earnings in valid page views promptly on a monthly basis. As we grow the payouts will become weekly.

Back Link, Re-Post & Promote

As long as your content is yours, you can re-post here. You can back link to your other revenue sites. You can promote your product or articles located elsewhere with links directly from your posts. As writers ourselves, we can relate and are supportive of your need to earn. Rather than come down on you for even mentioning other earning sites, we hope to be resourceful to our members in every way possible. Fix for Error: "Normal 0 false false false EN-IN X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4" 

Mostly this error message appears when text is being copied directly from MS Word to Blogger. MS Word adds many special formatting/fonts tags which are not recognized by Blogger. Hence it leads to above mentioned errors. Remember, these errors are not due to blogger templates.

To solve this problem, for new posts, simply write directly in blogger editor. Or -  if you want to copy text  from MS Word, then there are two solutions:

(1) First copy text to any ASCII Editor like Notepad and then copy it again to post on blogger.
(2) Paste copied text to the “HTML” Tab rather than the “Compose” Tab of the Blogger editor.

Fix: Allow Googlebot to Crawl Your Blogger Page.
This can be the issue if you can not locate your posts on the Google search engine.

1. Goto your blogger dashboard/settings/search preferences: Crawlers and Indexing
2. Select "Custom robots.txt" and click Edit
3. Now copy/paste this line:
User-agent: Google
Disallow:

User-agent: *
Disallow: 
4. Save Changes
The "Disallow" fields have been left open to specify there are no crawl restrictions on your site by Google.
Check to see that the robot.txt is updated by searching your url address/robot.txt in your browser:
http://yoururladdress.com/robots.txt. You should see the updated robot.txt. Note: You may not begin to see your recent posts until the next time your site is crawled.

How to see only my posts in the Posts Log.
Put an ID tag in small print at the bottom of each post. I use a personal 5 digit number but it can be anything you wish as long as it is unique to your articles alone. Then in the post section, key this tag into the search box to display only your posts bearing that tag.

Building Our Community

Our Community is just starting out so it may be 30 days before you begin to see earnings if you are just getting in on the ground floor. But as we grow in numbers and generate more revenue, a working payroll account will be established to ensure each writer has funds available on a weekly basis. You will be able to see our real-time earnings via our Earnings Tab located on the top left of every page. And as our community grows, each writer's individual available earnings will increase incrementally. Your account will ALWAYS have funds available. It's up to you to earn your full potential. This ensures you will NEVER experience a late/missed payment!

Transparent Earnings Tab

You will notice at the top left of every page our Earnings Tab. This is a real time accounting of our monthly progress and available earnings per member for the month. This tab includes:

-         Our total members to date

-         Our real time monthly earnings

-         AdRate/1000 views (RPM)

-         Potential earnings each member has available. Example: ($100/10 mbrs = $10.00 available to you)

-         The rollover sum is the unclaimed earnings generated from last month.

About Rollover Earnings
All generated income must be earned from valid page views only with no exceptions. Additional revenue generated from organic traffic, etc. are carried over to the writers’ account each month to ensure we always have enough to pay our valued members!

Rollover Earnings / total members = available monthly earnings payroll
$1000 / 10 members = $100 available to each member

Analytics

You will get paid for every valid page view based on our Google Analytics Reports... Period. If it counts to our Advertisers it counts for you and you get 100% of your page view earnings. No questions asked.

Example:

Total Valid Page Views:             100,000

Average earnings/page view:      $0.008 x 100,000 = $800.00

Your Valid Page Views:              5000

Your Earnings:                          5000 x .008 = $40.00

The average Rate/1000 views fluctuates and can be (RPM)

Getting Paid

As mentioned we are a new community so payouts will begin on a monthly basis to start. Once we build up our earnings, we will move to a bi-weekly payout. Then finally payouts will be sent automatically each week. Our progress will be posted on our Earnings Tab located at the top left of every page for full transparency.

Your Dashboard

You can review the views of your posts as well as those of fellow members via the "Dashboard". Your Dashboard can be easily located on your top toolbar. From your Dashboard you can:

Book Review: Where Darkness Dwells, a Great Depression Horror Novel

This book kept me a bit off guard in the beginning with its many plot twists. Experienced readers will recognize the author's writing strategy of providing only enough details in the beginning to make readers believe they know where the story will lead. I found this book to be smartly written, compelling and difficult to put down.

The characters were colorfully envisioned and easily relatable but slightly difficult to identify the main characters. I would have preferred to have remained with the main characters more and less with those on the periphery. To some degree, this led to an overall distraction that caused the storyline to be slightly less frightening than it could have been. In this respect I felt the author left a lot on the table.

Readers like myself, who enjoy not only the character believability but the scenery will appreciate the author's gentle references to the surroundings that allowed the reader to easily envision the environment. The contrast between the town above ground and the tunnels underneath instantly places the reader in a state of unease.

I found the plot to be disturbing, sadistic and twisted from the very start, which is exactly what I look for in a good horror. It all comes together wonderfully towards the end and nothing is left to the imagination. Be warned, I would recommend this book to my friends who prefer their fear slightly on the deviant side.
